Gothenburg and West Sweden

Alternatively, one of Sweden’s most festive highlights is Liseberg Amusement Park’s Christmas Market. Located in the heart of Gothenburg, it is Sweden’s largest Christmas Market, decorated with five million twinkling lights and 700 Christmas trees. Liseberg features more than 70 rustic market stalls, selling everything from arts and crafts to seasonal foods such as traditional Swedish marinated herring, marzipan pigs, roasted reindeer served by Sámi reindeer herders from Lapland, kitted out in traditional costume.?

Experience an atmospheric Christmas Market at one of Sk?ne’s amazing castles.?
Bosj?kloster Castle opens its Christmas Market on the first weekend of December where guests can enjoy horse-and-wagon rides and a huge array of stalls selling local delicacies and produce, before listening to family Christmas carols in the 11th century church. Date: opens Nov 30- Dec 2.?
Sk?ne is also home to the Fredriksal Christmas market at Helsingborg, attracting more than 20,000 visitors each year and offering a yuletide atmosphere for all the ages.
